Job Description & Qualifications: Are you passionate about nurturing curiosity, creativity, and growth in young minds? Rifugio Austin is seeking a part-time educator to join our innovative community, working with grades 2–4 from 8:30am to 12:30pm, Monday through Friday.
About the role: As a Reggio Emilia–inspired school, we emphasize a project-based approach that honors the unique interests of our students while adhering to curriculum aligned with Texas State Standards. Your role will include:
Designing and facilitating dynamic lessons based on student interests and school-developed curriculum.
Encouraging creativity, divergent thinking, and 21st-century skills development.
Supporting neurodiverse learners with empathy and utilizing co-regulation techniques.
What we’re looking for:
Reggio Emilia training or deep understanding of project-based learning principles.
Experience in or enthusiasm for working with neurodiverse students.
A passion for fostering exploration, connection, and growth.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
